The sixth annual North Texas Community Cleanup Challenge and Mayors' Challenge will be held from March 1 to May 31, 2026. The following communities have all signed on to compete, and we would love to see your community added to this growing list! To participate in the Community Cleanup Challenge, please sign up here or send an email confirming your community's interest to stormwater@nctcog.org by April 15, 2026.

Communities are also encouraged to participate in the optional Mayors' Challenge, which adds visibility and friendly rivalry to the effort. To join, the mayor or city council issues a proclamation declaring support for and participation in the NTCCC. Challenging neighboring communities helps build momentum!
Cleanup Events
Participants in the 2026 North Texas Community Cleanup Challenge may use the Texas Litter Database to log cleanup events. To ensure proper reporting, please enter CCC26 in the External ID field.
